What to expect at Azure
If this is your first time at Azure, here is what to expect. Whether you have come for a facial, a body treatment or just a chat about your skin, we want you to feel comfortable and looked after from the moment you arrive.
No special preparation is needed. Just yourself, and any current skincare you would like advice on.
Before your visit
Come with a clean, makeup-free face if you are booked for a facial. If you have been using strong actives like high-strength vitamin A or AHA exfoliants, give us a call beforehand so we can adjust the treatment if needed. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up. Well-hydrated skin responds better to almost every treatment we offer.
When you arrive
Park out the front of the salon at The Pavilions Marketplace. The entrance is just behind Eco Pharmacy, with our sign on the door. We will greet you, offer you something to drink, and have a quick chat about what you have come in for and any concerns about your skin.
The treatment itself
For most facial treatments you will be lying down on a heated bed in the treatment room. We will talk you through what we are doing as we go, but feel free to close your eyes and switch off. Most clients fall asleep at some point. If you are ever uncomfortable or want to ask something, just say so.
After we are done
We will go through any aftercare advice and recommend products only if there is something we think will genuinely help. There is no pressure to buy anything on the day. Payment can be made by card, EFTPOS or cash, and gift vouchers are accepted.
If you are nervous
Some people feel a bit shy about their skin, especially if it has been a while since their last treatment. We have seen everything and there is no judgement here. If you are not sure where to start, book a 30-minute consultation rather than a treatment. We can talk through your concerns and recommend a starting point with no obligation.

Will my skin look red afterwards?+
Some treatments leave the skin a little flushed for a few hours, especially anything with active acids or needling. We schedule those treatments so you can go straight home and rest if you would like.Can I wear makeup straight after?+
For most facial treatments we recommend leaving your skin clean for the rest of the day. Mineral makeup is fine if you really need it for an event.What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?+
A handful of treatments are not suitable during pregnancy. Let us know when booking and we will guide you to what is safe and effective at this stage.Are men welcome?+
Yes, absolutely. We see clients of all genders.What is your cancellation policy?+
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee. We understand things come up, just let us know as early as you can.Do you do gift vouchers?+
